Celebrate Hawai‘i’s marine heritage with a framed photographic print featuring the native Āholehole fish (Kuhlia sandvicensis). Revered in Hawaiian culture, the āholehole is known both as a traditional food source and as a symbol of vitality and resilience. These silvery fish are often seen close to shore, darting through shallow waters—an iconic presence along our islandsʻ coastlines.

One of three prints being auctioned and captured by local photographer Carl Price, each image was photographed near Awāwamalu (Sandy Beach) in Maunalua. Professionally printed by Rising Tide Print Studios, the photographs are presented in elegant 18x24-inch frames, ready for display as a trio or on their own. Please see items #114 and #115.
